WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Reliable diagnosis and medical procedures rely on the accurate work of medical technologists. These medical experts follow procedures, help patients feel at ease, and accurately report all treatments and dosages. Do you have experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine? Are you precise, conscientious and detail-oriented? Can you work easily with patients, radiologists, nurses and doctors? We’re looking for someone just like you. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Prepare and administer radioactive materials orally or intravenously for Nuclear Medicine procedure under the supervision of the radiologist in order to perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
  • Document patient's treatment history and dosages of radionuclides in order to provide clinical information for radiologist reporting.
  • Consult with physicians and nursing personnel and review patient chart regarding history and procedure in order to provide clinical history.
  • Acquire diagnostic images and transfer images to PACS for the radiologist review and reporting in order to provide documentation of procedures and timely reports.
  • Prepare scan room and equipment for patient according to established protocol and maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the Nuclear Medicine Department in order to assure a clean and professional environment for the patients.
  • Monitor the safe and proper working condition of all procedures equipment and accessory items and report malfunctioning equipment to appropriate maintenance organization in order to assure all equipment is in optimal working condition and ready for use at all times.

  • Keep abreast of current and new techniques in order to provide self-development and competent staff.

License(s): ARRT-R; Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Certification(s): Basic Life Support Program
