WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The healthcare revenue cycle – determining patient eligibility, coding & tracking claims, posting payment, following up on claims – is an integral part of our hospitals and physician offices. That cycle is how we run our business. The Manager of Patient Access is the person who ensures all of those pieces come together. From monitoring employees to overseeing data collection, it’s a busy and important job.

 

Are you detail-oriented? Do you take pride in accuracy and compliance? Do you have experience in healthcare revenue cycle management? If so, we have a special place to put your skills to work. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Monitor employees’ performance with the use of standard key performance indicators.
  • Document system issues while assisting in the development of system improvements.
  • Maintain all HIPAA compliance standards for providing accurate information for Revenue Cycle Health Systems. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and prepare reports as they relate to Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Anticipate scheduling needs while maintaining adequate staffing for efficient operations.
  • Monitors productivity standards while integrating individuals work into a team effort.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and directives from regulatory agencies and third party payers.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Five years Revenue Cycle experience. 
  • Prior experience in a Hospital/Physician Office related position is required
  • Maintain and demonstrats in their daily interaction with others a positive working relationship with the various levels of staff and the public.
  • Able to communicate clearly with employees, patients, payer representatives, vendor representatives, and all levels of management both at the Corporate Office and throughout the System while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Wors independently following established policies, procedures, and practices. 
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Handle high stress situations calmly.
  • Give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

3-5 Years Experience in healthcare supervisor role required; EPIC experience preferred

Travel: Up to 20%
