WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Patient Access Coordinator helps their department run as smoothly as possible. From preparing work schedules to monitoring employee performance, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with others. The Coordinator also handles data, runs reports and supports management as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Assist in the monitoring of employees’ performance and provides feedback to appropriate staff members.
  • Prepare work schedules and process for departmental operations and personal, with guidance from their Supervisor.
  • Perform assigned job duties while providing guidance to the staff on daily operations and tasks within the Department.
  • Provide a resource for staff on questions regarding Information systems.
  • Assist with instructing and educating staff on systems and operational processes.
  • Advise supervisors of all identified systems issues.
  • Coordinate the completion of assigned responsibilities with team members.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent customer services skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate understanding of hospital functions, policies and procedures.
  • Interact and be empathetic to people when dealing with highly sensitive and/or controversial issues while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
