Efficient scheduling support 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Outpatient services require scheduling between the patient, the doctor and the facility. Sometimes procedures require additional tests to be scheduled and education to be passed onto the patient. There are a lot of details that need to be managed efficiently and accurately from data entry to chasing down answers on the phone. Our Physician Navigators juggle those needs every day and do it with a smile.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Process all phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Retrieve information as requested by patients for other providers.
  • Work with patients in-person inside the physician office.
  • Receive incoming calls or requests from in-house departments.
  • Obtain necessary information to schedule outpatient physical therapy, outpatient treatment, and for diagnostic procedures.
  • Enter information in the scheduling book or facilitates scheduling for patients.
  • Order tests on appropriate admission.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • Phlebotomy experience desired.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Careful attention to detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Adjust to situations involving repetitive, short-cycle operations carried out according to established standards and procedures.
