WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ambulatory or outpatient care has its own set of account requirements on the business side of healthcare. Our Patient Access Specialist manages and corrects accounts on Ambulatory Work Queues to reduce billing errors and missing requirements. It’s the sort of job that needs a detailed eye and a knack for problem solving.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Correct accounts on all assigned Ambuatory PA workqueues including but not limited to (Eligibility, Denials, Charge review, etc)
  • Determine root cause of Ambulatory WQ error/Denial and fix utilizing appropriate PA process.
  • Analyze Ambulatory WQ trends to assess and established opportunities within the revenue cycle processes and policies.
  • Documents and maintains trend logs for use of further monitoring and progress/outcome.

  • Careful attention to detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Adjust to situations involving repetitive, short-cycle operations carried out according to established standards and procedures.
  • Maintain composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Revenue cycle setting; extensive experience with computers, Patient Accounting and Payer sites

Travel: Never or Rarely
