Our Digital Content Specialist assists in building and producing digital content for the Franciscan website. It’s a digital marketing job with the bonus of knowing you are helping others receive high quality healthcare.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collect, produce, and edit website material to maintain and improve the quality of information provided, includes pages, calls-to-action.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of content on websites.
  • Build and maintain daily content per established designs and aesthetic standards.
  • Daily management and quality control of content on file system.
  • Implement time-sensitive editorial concepts.
  • Contribute to the process of UX design, to ensure that content is appropriately structured to meet the goals for the site and supported platforms.
  • Specify the multimedia content needed to support or work alongside textual content; Locate and select appropriate, existing multimedia content, including still images and video.
  • Use metadata and other methods to optimize search engine positions.
  • Collaborate with service line departments and marketing team to create daily content.
  • Thorough testing of relevant browsers and mobile experience.
  • Consistently brainstorm and collaborate with team for new ideas and strategies.
  • Research markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original.
  • Collaborate with campaign managers, creative team, and designers.
  • Write a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, social updates, etc.).
  • Identify and implement strategies to increase digital leads.
  • Ensure all content meets high-quality standards, corporate governance and style while staying informed of current trending topics, new developments in marketing, and industry best practices.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • Web content marketing experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Passion for web/digital copywriting.
  • Fluent knowledge in HTML.
  • Strong project management or organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Content Management Systems.
  • Effectively and creatively communicate information and ideas.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
