WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Information systems are a critical component of both the care and business sides of our hospital. Our IS departments are filled with hard-working people that work to ensure focus and accountability for achieving results based on the scope of projects that are to be implemented. Our Manager of Project Management Office plays a big part in this role by providing leadership and supporting our organization’s projects. Think you’ve got what it takes?

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Develop, implement and manage policies and a budget, ensuring cost control and expenses are in alignment with the budget.
  • Ensure the department is aligned with strategies for all the assigned areas of the business.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics for management of the business area.
  • Establish department objectives by analyzing business plan and collaborating with Business Partners and IS Leadership.
  • Manage project/plan specifications by analyzing and approving the design of customer requirements and performance standards.
  • Regularly review and evaluate opportunities to improve the project management best practices.
  • Prepare project status reports for overall staff including projects in queue, projects in motion and projects completed.
  • Supervise direct reports, perform people management activities and manage the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Progressive experience in project management leading implementations and support of industry standard systems, i.e. EMR/EHR, and other enterprise systems in an integrated healthcare system.
  • Operational experience in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical and strategic skills and a vigorous through processes.
  • Strong capacity to communicate and present complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding and demonstrated ability to adapt to complex business environments and situations.
