Identity Access Management Analyst

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst provides intermediate-level work efforts for Franciscan’s day-to-day operations of processing software application and information access requests for Franciscan users and third parties. This is the person that also applies a stronger technical acumen to the IAM processes through analyzing IAM data, identifying trends or errors, creating reports, and involvement in defining new IAM processes as needed. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Process in-scope access requests based on responsibilities for these scenarios: access for new hires, requests for changes in existing access, and revoking access associated with voluntary and involuntary terminations; does so in alignment with policy and procedures.
  • Understanding of requirements to integrate new software applications into IAM tools and understand basic mechanics of how existing software applications are integrated into IAM provisioning tools.
  • Evaluate user provisioning aspects of new clinical and business projects, assists in defining new workflows in IAM tools, assists in creating and executing test scripts for workflows.
  • For systems and software applications in scope for IAM Team, reconcile discrepancies between access rights assigned and access rights required for users to perform job duties.
  • Use IAM tools to manage life cycle of user accounts in scope for job responsibilities and use manual provisioning methods where necessary. 
  • Assist in gathering access-related information relative to information security audits or investigations, and privacy investigations.
  • Run reports or provide data related to IAM activities when called upon to do so.
  • Help gather information to build new roles and entitlements in IAM tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues with IAM tools and processes.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • In-depth understanding of processes to manage computer account life cycles, passwords, roles and entitlements and the necessary alignment of processes with IAM policies.
  • Understand how regulatory requirements influence and drive IAM policies and processes. 
  • Understanding of file server share security, possess intermediate understanding of directory services account management such as Active Directory.
  • Familiar with the relationships between and dependencies on user access and business operational workflows.
  • In-depth understanding of and experience with the functionality of an identity repository and commercial provisioning tools to automate the life cycle of user access, including what the expected outputs are for given inputs to IAM provisioning tools.
  • Project Management.
  • Provide on-call support, including after-hours support, for team and customers following the Franciscan Alliance support model.
  • Prior experience in an Information Technology department or discipline.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

Required:   Associates Degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security) 

Required:   Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Information Technology or Identity Access Management.

 

Preferred:  Bachelor of Science Degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security).
Preferred:  Minumum 5 years' experience in the healthcare industry;

Preferred:  Training or 3 years experience supporting IdentityIQ and/or RadiantOne.

Preferred:  Comp TIA, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, vendor-specific certifications for IAM products, or other industry-recognized certification

 

Travel: Up to 20%
