WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

End user site support teams help keep our people up and running. From technical advice to training, from troubleshooting to problem resolution – these are the people we call when our technology isn’t working.

Are you good at figuring out the answer to technology challenges? Can you work well with others in a training and support role? Do you have IT work experience? We have a place that can put those skills to work. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Manage hardware, non-standard software inventories and maintain CMDB (Configuration Management) database/IS Connect.
  • Produce and monitor metrics to ensure compliance with established SLA standards.
  • Manage user and device information in Active Directory.
  • Assist with testing and deploying desktop system packages/updates using remote management tools.
  • Install, configure, and support both hardware and software.
  • Following standard IS processes, use IS Connect to create and manage tickets and to journalize progress and resolution for standard and non-standard software, hardware and configuration incidents.
  • Partner with Client Computing team on standard images.
  • Provide on-call support as needed, including after-hours support for non-standard hardware, software and configuration incidents using the IS support model.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of technical standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis when needed and develops checklists for typical problems.
  • Work in a team setting, share information, and assist others with calls.
  • Assist with technology change and innovation for the purpose of maintaining a continuously evolving information technology landscape.
  • Provide Tier 1 Telephony/PBX support.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Prior IT work experience with demonstrated working knowledge of basic to moderately complex hardware and software products and problem/solving troubleshooting skills.
  • Configure, install, and support PC/Workstation hardware and software.
  • Manage conflict and tactfully handle complaints and difficult situations.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Solve problems by analyzing information and using logic to address issues and problems.
  • Teamwork/Collaboration.
  • Telecommunications/Telephony experience preferred.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Teach others new skills.
