WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Every successful project has a strong communicator and efficient manager behind it. Someone who is responsible for coordination and reporting. The person who sets the standards and then makes sure they are met. Here that’s the Business Intel Architect. It’s a job that requires good multi-tasking skills, good listening skills and the ability to see the big picture. Think you have what it takes?

Are you able to discern and define the most important aspects of a problem and then develop a solution? Do you have experience with standard project management methodologies? Are you efficient and good at pulling the pieces together? We have some projects that need your skills. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Work with the Business and IT stakeholders to understand their vision and challenges
  • Conduct a detailed assessment of data landscape including data platforms, technology architecture, data flows, data consumption, data integration and document current state
  • Understand pain points in current state
  • Develop future state architecture and process/data flows to realize the modern data strategy
  • Architect modern data supply chain and evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies
  • Guide decisioning of cloud vs on-premise environments and assist with cloud service provider selection
  • Document and present data strategy to clients, gain buy in, and grow strategic relationships
  • Assist in development of capability roadmap
  • Participate in setting objectives, scope and develop a roadmap for the data initiatives that support the client leadership in meeting their objectives
  • Own the technical relationship with the client, be a technical subject matter expert and principle data evangelist across the planning effort that intersect the data discipline
  • Provide specialized expertise, cross-industry perspective, and Thought Leadership in Big Data, Cloud, EIM and other Next Generation technology offerings
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Proven experience as software architect
  • 5+ years of experience in databases development and coding in SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of application design and architecture
  • Excellent knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for OLAP and OLTP
  • Process Modeling experience
  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Best Practices and Standards
  • Well-versed in MS SQL Server 2012, 2014 and 2016; T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS experience
  • Tableau and Redgate experience preferred
  • Understanding of databases quality assurance principles
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
