WHAT WE NEED

 Healthcare Executive Director

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A successful medical practice certainly includes a top-notch medical staff but it starts with a core group of business professionals. Our Executive Director maintains and grows philanthropic activity for a variety of initiatives at a regional division of Franciscan Alliance Foundation. It’s a job with a lot of hats and one that requires a strong personality to wear them.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Annually develop and implement a fundraising plan based on year-to-year analysis of program progress and the health needs of the communities that the divisional healthcare facilities serve.
  • Design and implement program for Major Gifts and Annual Fund that is efficient and creative. 
  • Assert leadership in the oversight, direction and supervision of activities and volunteers.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and close Major Gift donors.
  • Facilitate and develop relationships, while being the key person for Foundation Board activities and information.
  • Provide creative leadership and logistical support to ensure successful development.
  • Develop capital campaign or major gift initiative strategies relevant to the specific needs in the division, as appropriate.
  • Create case statement and lead feasibilities studies, with the assistance of an outside consulting group, when appropriate.
  • Assist in planning appropriate special events to engage external and internal donors/prospects.
  • Ensure potential donor relationships are cultivated.
  • Assure departmental administration is conducted in a manner consistent with best practices that are incompliance with local, state, and federal regulations, statues, and laws.
  • Responsible for entering in donor meeting notes, actions, proposals, and other items that pertain to the moves management process, in a timely manner.

  • Lead capital campaigns and/or major gift initiatives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
