WHAT WE NEED

Imaging team leader

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Physicians rely on our imaging tech team for proper preparation and documentation of x-rays, MRIs, CT scans and other medical images. These are high-tech, hands-on jobs and they require a director who can make sure everyone is following procedures to provide the most accurate imaging and the best possible patient care.

Are you a good leader? Are you trained in imaging technology procedures? Can you schedule others and oversee their work? Can you accurately document patient information and clinical details? We have just the job for you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide administrative direction and control of all sections of Diagnostic Imaging Radiology, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Nuclear Medicine. Responsible for assuring that all Departmental activities are appropriately directed. 
  • Function with initiative and independent judgment in maintaining Hospital and Department standards of quality. 
  • Prepare fiscal budgets, contracts and systems of administrative control for review of the respective Medical Director and approval by Administration.
  • Develop and monitor departmental operating and capital budgets, for Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine, in order to provide the appropriate utilization of resources and provide equipment consistent with Health Center strategic long range plans.
  • Adhere to the development of departmental Policies and Procedures and operations in order to maintain accreditation by regulatory agencies (HFAP, IEMA, ACR/FDA).
  • Coordinate special projects, serve on hospital committees, participate in community education and hospital-wide in-service programs.
  • Work in conjunction with the department Medical Directors, Radiologists, and other members of the Medical Staff in order to plan, develop, and implement department and administrative goals and objectives.

  • Strategic planning, Project Management and program development abilities.
  • Experience and ability in planning, organizing and controlling the activities in Radiology, Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, CT Scan, Nuclear Medicine and MRI, through the respective department supervisors.
