WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Assist department leadership with the coordination of essential ROI functions and workflows.
  • Assist with process improvement and standardization of ROI workflow.
  • Conduct quality reviews for focused studies related to accreditation requirements.
  • Monitor work queues and manage system issues.
  • Perform ROI essential functions and workflow duties as needed in the department.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on essential ROI functions and workflows.
  • Answer inquiries from departments regarding the ROI system and resolve issues or escalate as appropriate.
  • Participate in the planning and testing of new systems and upgrades.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferable ROI experience.
  • Knowledge of types of health information and the rules and regulations surrounding their use/release.
  • Understanding of common medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Accept personal accountability for deliverables and actions.
  • Solve problems by analyzing information and using logic to address issues and problems.
  • Identify trends in medical record ROI workflows and escalate to leadership.
  • Critically evaluate and analyze information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer software, hardware, and communication devices to perform tasks.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.


 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
 

 

Experience

Associates in Health Information Management Required

Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Required

2 years of Healthcare setting preferred
