WHAT WE NEED

Software Application and Technical support analyst

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We make extensive use of technical applications to handle the often-complex work required to run a large construction company, Tonn and Blank. Those applications need support from design to implementation to training. Support from someone who can build procedures, monitor specs, optimize solutions, and help with on-going trouble shooting. 

 

Are you good at following detailed specifications? Can you modify procedures to account for capacity and limitations? Are you thorough in your work? We have a job you should consider. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Daily technical support for onsite applications, security, workstations and various support ticket assistance.
  • Plan for when and how applications will be upgraded.
  • Work with vendors in implementing and supporting applications.
  • Support applications post-implementation by ensuring applications continuing running.
  • Disaster recovery planning, documentation and testing.
  • Mobile device plan deployment. 
  • Server upgrades and server migration to new Michigan City Hospital.  

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's preferred but not necessary.  
  • Construction industry background preferred but not necessary.  
  • Prefer Timberline, Timberscan, WinEst, Procore, DProfiler application experience.  
  • Strong variety of technical skills including strong project management, customer service and good communication skills.  
  • Experience with vendors, and Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. 
  • Perform work that is highly complex and varied in nature.
  • Develop integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues. 
  • Provide strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services.
  • Be able lead projects and provide guidance/training to staff members.
