WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Coordinate efforts to update policies and procedures required by ISDH and HFAP and assure unit is in a continual state of compliance.
  • Accountable for service and quality related to patient safety, medication safety and environment of care.
  • Provide clinical leadership and collaboration on technology integration and upgrade projects.
  • Participate and leads staff in performance improvement activities.
  • Conduct all activities with applicable laws and regulations and promotes the high standards of business ethics and integrity.
  • Provide direction in analyzing and maintaining nursing services; compliance with regulations and legislation.
  • Collect and analyze patient data and benchmarks with outside agencies to establish best practice standards.
  • Assist in development and implementation of measurable goals and objectives for the department.
  • Assist in the development of cross training plan, team-building efforts, ongoing educational and competency plan and transition planning and implementation.
  • Offer input regarding departmental needs to the Division Director for budget process, including impact of staff participation in PI, transition planning, new technology integration, etc.
  • Account for all aspects of patient care, including but not limited to quality, safety, documentation, and service.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

5-10 Years Experience

License(s): Exercise Physiologist Certified; Registered Nurse

Certification(s): Basic Life Support Program

Travel: Never or Rarely
