WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Promote quality patient care in the perioperative environment by providing optimal surgical and procedural scheduling.
  • Capture surgical and procedural revenue through appropriate, timely charging.
  • Collaborate with others in the development and evaluation of education needs of staff.
  • Technical responsibilities and patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison between finance, charging, and physicians.
  • Equipment and quality management.
  • Manage reimbursement.
  • Provide cosmetic estimates, tracks payments received, and follow up on financial questions with the patient and surgeon. 

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • Demonstrate tact and understanding when dealing with others.  Respond in a positive manner to constructive criticism.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
