WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide consultation to medical providers and providing psychology and behavioral health treatment with primary care patients. 
  • Function as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a family medicine residency clinic. 
  • Grow clinical skills with a highly varied population in integrated primary care.
  • Perform diagnostic screenings, behavioral health consultation, and brief psychological interventions with children, adults and families. 
  • Didactic training, one on one supervision, and opportunities for other rotations 

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Utilize time productively.
  • Exercise safe judgement in decision making.
  • Function independently and within guidelines of supervision.
  • Demonstrate emotional stability.
