WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop, implement and manage policies and a budget, ensuring cost control and expenses are in alignment with budget.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve concerns of customers and keeps the next level of management informed of significant developments.
  • Maintain practice in accordance to established policies, procedures and applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Make decisions for direct reports and performs HR activities such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staff planning and interviews.
  • Supervise direct reports and manages the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team.
  • Maintain unit/department/area expenses/productivity within established guidelines.
  • Identify potential deviations and effectively intervenes when deviations from established practice are identified.
  • Prepare or is accountable for required operational reports. Submit required reports in a timely manner to support efficient identification of trends and facilitate action.
  • Oversee staffing schedule to provide volume and patient specific need-based staffing; adapts schedule to adjust for staff shortages ensuring adequate staffing for quality patient care.
  • Responsible for quality improvement initiatives to track overall performance and outcome metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners for inter-professional coordination across the continuum of care.
  • Identify and implement best practices and new programs.
  • Responsible for space and equipment planning in response to new technology and expansion of services.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

3-5 Years Experience

License(s): Occupational Therapist; Physical Therapist; Speech Language Pathologist

Certification(s): Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Travel: Up to 50%
