IS Release and Deployment Coordinator

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Assist with needs assessments and impacts analysis to understand the business and processes of Franciscan Alliance Information Services. Participate in work teams to ensure quality processes are in place. Perform activities related to the release and deployment process and ensure proceses are followed and within desired timelines. Our IS Release and Deployment Coordinator handles all this and so much more. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Coordinate documentation, communications, and training for releases. Work with teams to ensure final steps of the release and deployment plan are complete.
  • Identify and respond to complex changes in service offerings and processes. 
  • Ensure that change processes are in place for releases to production environments.
  • Identify the criteria needed for a release and deployment solution, and assists in coordinating all resources required to build, test and deploy releases. Include knowledge information, hardware, software, and infrastructure.
  • Identify gaps, errors, and workarounds that could breach release and deployment schedules and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Provide solutions to ensure release and deployment processes continue with limited disruption.
  • Record and report release and deployment requests metrics to ensure alignment with SLAs and release schedules.
  • Regularly coordinate with business departments to suggest improvements to system use and processes.
  • Advocate for improvements through the integrated service management approach.
  • Work as a liaison for the service transition team and guide the organization on delivering changes into the service structure.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Mastery technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes.
  • Prior Project Management and/or System Implementation and Support experience.
  • Knowledge of System and Technology Integration.
  • Implementation of applications into a production environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

7 years experience preferably with project management and system implementation and support.

Certification in Information Technology IL (ITIL) v3 or v4 Foundations strongly preferred. 

Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt) strongly preferred.

 

Travel: Never or Rarely
