WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Working on applications and information systems in a clinical environment requires a special balance of skills. The Application Clinical Analyst must be able to assess needs and troubleshoot solutions, maintain application upgrade plans, and implement new apps as needed – all while understanding and working around the challenges present in a clinical position.

 

Do you have IS project management experience? Are you good at working with vendors and staff to schedule and manage application upgrades & implementation? Do you have a degree or experience with applications in a clinical position? If you answered yes, we’ve got a great opportunity for you to consider. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide quality implementation, upgrades and support for various applications.
  • Participate in system optimization and new installs.  
  • Assists with needs assessments, workflow and impacts analysis.  
  • Provides on-going troubleshooting.  
  • Analysts are assigned projects (both short and long-term).
  • Project management methodologies will be part of the assignments.    
  • Required on-call assignment for customer support.  
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Typically possesses at least one to three years of relevant work experience in a clinical position.
  • Experience with vendors, and Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Demonstrate clinical expertise in assigned healthcare field.
  • Epic ClinDoc and Orders certification will be required to be achieved, if not already obtained.  Further certifications may be necessary per organizational needs.
