WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A great deal of the work that happens in any large business, hospitals included, relies on sound computer applications. Upgrading applications, implementing new versions or apps, and providing support is a busy job with lots of variety. From assessing needs and troubleshooting to managing vendor relationships, our Application Business Analysts have plenty on their task list.

 

Do you have IS project management experience? Are you good at scheduling and managing implementations and upgrades? Can you handle ongoing support needs? If you answered yes, we’ve got a great opportunity for you to consider.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible for providing daily quality support within the Epic Ambulatory application within Tier 2 Application Support. 
  • The analyst will have an understanding of the business and established processes within physician practice locations.
  • Provide rounding assistance within physician practices to ensure proper workflows are established and education has been delivered to staff serving our patients.
  • Frequently provide onsite support assistance as needed to address concerns of those practices.
  • Will serve as the front line support for clinicians utilizing clinical tools and applications within the Epic systems for physician practice locations. 
  • Will build relationships with clinicians to ensure a collaborative understanding of the holistic clinician experience while conducting the business of quality care. 
  • Will collaborate closely with the Tier 1 and Tier 3 analysts within the organization to provide efficient customer service while focusing on improvement of the overall system experience of clinicians.  
  • Provide ongoing troubleshooting and at elbow assistance to serve customers using Epic workflow solutions and other integrated solutions on a regular basis.  
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop process and procedures that foster a positive user experience.  
  • Analyze and recommend solutions to recurring incidents towards prevention and process improvement.  
  • Serve customers through relocations and moves to ensure a smooth transition as practices move throughout the network within the region.  
  • Triage new issues and requests to provide quicker and more efficient resolution during escalations.  

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • Prefer physician office experience.  
  • Has proficient understanding of principles in one or more functions of a position. 
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with vendors, and Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as Project management and System implementations and support  experience
  • For Epic Business Analysts: Not all roles require certification. For roles that do require certification individuals must be certified within six weeks of last class and within three test attempts. Certification required for application build functions.  Epic Ambulatory certification required within 6 weeks and Epic Cadence/prelude within 6 months.
